How to use Spending Summary

• Sign in to JPMorganOnline.com
• Select “Spending summary”
• See a summary of your recent spending
  • Choose which accounts to show in the “Showing” dropdown
  • Choose a timeframe to focus on in the “Timeframe/focus” dropdown

• Sign in to the J.P. Morgan Mobile app
• Scroll down, and tap “Spending summary”
• See a summary of your recent spending
  • Choose which accounts to show in the “Showing” dropdown
  • Choose a timeframe to focus on in the “Timeframe/focus” dropdown

Eligible J.P. Morgan Chase personal checking accounts and credit cards, and any linked external accounts, are included in Spending Summary. All eligible accounts are included automatically, but you can adjust your account selections if you don’t want to see transactions from a particular account.

Your spending summary includes transactions from your eligible J.P. Morgan Chase personal checking or credit card accounts and any external checking or credit card accounts you have linked. The transactions count toward your spending once they’ve posted, which usually takes 24-48 hours. Payments to J.P. Morgan Chase credit cards don’t count toward your spending. 

You can recategorize or exclude transactions in Spending Summary.

To do this on the J.P. Morgan Mobile app:

• Go to your spending transactions in “Spending summary”.
• Change the category for any transaction in the list or exclude any transaction with the “Exclude transaction” toggle.
• Any transactions you exclude won't count toward your total spending amounts.
