How to enable account alerts¹
Activate account alerts to help keep your finances safe. Receive timely updates via text and/or email about transactions, account thresholds and more.
Here’s how to get started:
- Sign in to JPMorganonline.com
- Select "Security & privacy"
- Scroll down to “Resources”
- Select “Activate alerts to help keep your finances safe.”
- Select the account for which you’d like to enable alerts from the dropdown menu
- Choose which alerts you’d like to enable by account in the categories of “Balance and spending” “Payments” and “Protection and security”
- Set budget thresholds that will activate the alerts (if applicable)
- Set your desired delivery method (text, email, or Push notification on eligible devices) for your selected alerts
- Be sure to select, “Save”
- Repeat for any additional accounts
Sign in to the J.P. Morgan Mobile app
- Tap the “person” icon on the top right
- Tap “Settings”
- Select "Security center"
- Scroll down to “Resources”
- Tap “Activate alerts to help keep your finances safe.”
- Select the account for which you’d like to enable alerts
- Choose which alerts you’d like to enable by account in the categories of “Balance and spending” “Payments” and “Security alerts”
- Set budget thresholds that will activate the alerts (if applicable)
- Set your desired delivery method (text, email, or Push notification on eligible devices) for your selected alerts
- Be sure to tap, “Save changes”
- Repeat for any additional accounts
